Mark Wahlberg has come to the defense of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs after he allegedly attacked his son’s football coach at UCLA and got arrested.
He was arrested on Monday on three charges; assault with a deadly weapon, making terrorist threats and battery for reportedly attacking his son Justin Combs’ strength and conditioning coach Sal Alosi with a kettlebell.
“I just know what a devout Christian and father he is and obviously he would do anything to protect his children,” Wahlberg told Extra at the Ted 2 premiere of his AQUAhydrate business partner.
“I think it got blown out of proportion, but I hope everyone is okay and it gets resolved quickly,” he added.
The arrest comes on the heels of what’s been reported as months of Justin being “verbally and psychologically” abused by Alosi. It all came to a head when Diddy confronted him for sending Justin home from practice and telling him not to come back until the end of summer.
