Married at First Sight star Jessica Castro has broken her silence, through her attorney, on her split from husband Ryan De Nino, whom she took a restraining order out on last week.
De Nino posted a photo of the restraining order documents on Instagram this week.
Castro’s lawyer, Marc Rapaport, told People her client is “terrified for her life,” alleging De Nino threatened to “kill her” twice.
“One of those threats was captured on a live microphone on the set while there was a filming of Married at First Sight,” he continued.
New York Post obtained a copy of the Queens Family Court petition she filed, which had the contents of the tape.
“I will break you into f—ing pieces,” he said. “I will break your dad into pieces. I will make your whole family disappear — and your f—ing dog-ass sister’s boyfriend.”
Castro and De Nino were set up by a team of experts and the first six weeks of their marriage was featured on the show, showing them fight often.
The restraining order is effective up until July 13.
