Spy, a new comedy action movie premiered June 5th in theaters everywhere. Melissa McCarthy, Jude Law, Jason Stratham and other great actors were in the film, as we saw McCarthy go undercover to end the purchasing of a bomb.
Viewers saw McCarthy go from CIA desk analyst who hides behind a headset and tells a CIA agent where to go. McCarthy who plays Susan Cooper, who will do anything for the agent she looks out for, and even goes out in the field when he’s in danger.
In the film, there was not one moment of nonstop action and laughter. McCarthy is a comedic genius who has been making audiences laugh for a little less than twenty years. From starring in Mike and Molly to Tammy, McCarthy is an actor that can pretty much make you laugh in anything she stars in, and find humor in the smallest of things. This wasn’t the first time she has worked with director Paul Feig, who directed Bridesmaids and The Heat. There’s no denying that McCarthy and Feig are a good match when it comes to comedy movies.
I went in to the movie, hoping to like it, and I came out wanting to watch everything Melissa McCarthy is in. This movie is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a while, and I would gladly go see it again, just to see McCarthy’s acting, and her punchlines. Not only is this film full of humor and action, but it shows people not to limit themselves in life, and to follow their dreams, no matter what it takes. This film will have you laughing all night, and days after you see it. This is a great film for a night out with friends, filled with many laughs.
