A rep for Zayn Malik has confirmed that the star and his fiance, Perrie Edwards, did not secretly wed.

The L.A. Times confirmed on Friday, through Malik's rep, that the two did not get married.

Rumors flew that the two secretly married after Edwards' all-girl band, Little Mix, posted a video on their Instagram account. In the video, the three girls in the band who have boyfriends each identified themselves by their first name and their beau's last name. In the short clip, Perrie is seen flipping her hair and calling herself "Perrie Malik." Following this, single band mate Jane Thirwall pouts and simply states, "I'm Jane."

Once the video was posted, rumors flew around the internet that the video was actually a way for Edwards to announce that the two had secretly had wed.

Little Mix's rep explained to E! News cleared the air, stating that the video was just a joke on Thirwall for being single.

"They were teasing her. Nothing more," the band's rep explained.

The former One Direction member and Edwards do not have a date set for the wedding. The Daily Mail has reported the two are going to "go with the flow" and plan the wedding at a time when they both aren't "as busy."
