Richard Branson is offering a generous new paternity package for new dads who work at his company, Virgin. He believes that mothers and fathers should have that special time off with their newborn babies.

Male employees who have been with Virgin for at least four years are now able to enjoy one year’s worth of paternity leave with full pay. The deal is only extended to employees of Virgin Management, the company’s brand licensing and investment division, which has around 140 employees.

“If you take care of your employees they will take care of your business,” Branson said in a statement about the progressive offer, The Telegraph reports. “As a father and now a granddad to three wonderful grandchildren, I know how magical the first year of a child’s life is but also how much hard work it takes."

According to The Independent the deal covers fathers in the company who adopt their children as well.

Virgin Management CEO Josh Bayliss called it a “a ground-breaking move” for Branson.
