Rick Ross is in trouble with the law for the second time this month. The rapper was arrested on charges that include kidnapping and aggravated battery.

The U.S. Marshals Service told TMZ that Ross was arrested early this morning in Fayette County, Georgia for an alleged incident that took place two weeks ago. He allegedly got into a confrontation with a man who was working on his home there. Ross is facing charges of kidnapping, aggravated assault and aggravated battery.

Sources told TMZ that the assault charge stems from pistol-whipping the alleged victim. He also allegedly tried to keep the man from leaving the house, which explains the kidnapping charge.

Jim Joyner, supervisor with the Marshals' Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, told the Associated Press that one of Ross’ bodyguards was also arrested and will face the same charges. The bodyguard’s name was not released.

Ross was arrested just two weeks ago in the same county for possession of marijuana.

Ross’ real name is William Leonard Roberts II.
