Rumer Willis may have to take some time off from shaking her tail feather.
The 26-year-old announced that she injured her foot, forcing her to stop performing in the Dancing With the Stars tour. She shared the bad news via Instagram on Wednesday along with a picture of her foot in a cast.
Despite not being able to dance, the star will still perform on the tour. Willis revealed that she would still be able to participate in the show by singing.
“I have to hang up my dancing shoes for a little bit because of a few stress fractures in my foot but it's not gonna stop me from singing for you guys on the #DWTSlivetour,” the DWTS champ told her fans.
Willis told E! News that she is determined to get back on the dance floor.
“If I just take a little bit of a rest, hopefully, I’ll be able to finish the last days of the tour,” she said. “I will definitely be getting better and just resting up for a little while… “It’s one of those things where if I keep dancing on it, it will get worse.”
Reps from the DWTS Tour made an official statement on Willis’s behalf and revealed that her return to dancing on the tour “remains unclear at this time.”
“She is still having fun with her dancing family and will continue to be on the road with the tour,” The tour’s reps said. “Rumer is still a huge part of the tour and will be singing in various numbers throughout the 90 minute show."
