ABC said today that there will be some new faces coming to the third season of Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD.
The network announced that the characters from Marvel’s Secret Warriors stories will be joining Agent Coulson’s team as they search for new Inhumans. The series followed Nick Fury as he searched for a new group of super-soldiers to help stop HYDRA and other threats to the world.
ABC also set up a fun contest for San Diego Comic-Con, as they will be searching the convention for SHIELD ambassadors to hand special Secret Warriors pins to. Once you get your pin, if you post a photo of yourself with the hashtag “#SHIELDSecretWarriors,” a SHIELD castmember might like it enough to get the photo retweeted by the official SHIELD page.
More details about the Secret Warriors joining the SHIELD team will be unveiled during the show’s panel at Comic-Con on Friday, July 10.
ABC also announced that the third season of SHIELD will kick off on Tuesday, Sept. 29. The series stars Clark Gregg as Coulson, with Ming-Na Wen, Chloe Bennett, Nick Blood, Iain De Caestecker, Elizabeth Henstridge and Adrianne Palicki.
