As of this week, the entire run of Seinfeld is on Hulu, the streaming service that isn’t called Netflix. While the show has been available on DVD since 2004, this is the news that anyone who doesn’t feel like having a physical copy of the series taking up shelf space has been waiting for.

Seinfeld began airing on July 5, 1989 with the pilot, which was first titled The Seinfeld Chronicles. Over 10 months later on May 31, 1990, the second episode - and third filmed - aired, titled “The Stake Out.” Overall, the first season included just five episodes, but NBC figured out that they had something and the show was renewed for a 12-episode second season that aired from January to June 1991.

The show’s popularity reached incredible heights by the famous season 4, which featured the story line with George and Jerry trying to get NBC to shoot a pilot.

It did hit a few bumps in the road in the later two seasons without co-creator Larry David around. And the finale is one of the most infamous in TV history for ending the show flat on its face. But in between The Seinfeld Chronicles and The Finale, there are plenty of good shows you will have to check out if you actually have Hulu already.
