Selena Gomez hit back at the people spreading negative rumors about her in recent months with an emotional Instagram post on Thursday.
The “I Want You To Know” singer, who has split from DJ Zedd and was reunited with Justin Bieber recently, has hinted she’s been having a difficult time reading about herself in the media lately.
“Sometimes I get frustrated when I hear lies about who I am. The Internet is meant to keep you ‘updated’ but it just takes old news and freezes it like it's now,” she wrote. “You have watched me in pain and I've owned up to it through my music and actions. I grew up with you.”
Indeed she poured her heart out in her song “The Heart Wants What It Wants,” which she admitted is about Bieber.
“I am beyond excited to show you the next chapter, the TRUTH,” she continued. “I've been keeping so many secrets... I'm reborn in every moment so who knows what I'll become.. As long as I'm happy with me.”
