We're mere days away from seeing the park re-open with Jurassic World, and whether or not the movie lives up to expectations, Honest Trailers is here to remind fans just how bad the sequels to Steven Spielberg's 1993 classic can be. Specifically with The Lost World: Jurassic Park, the dinosaur theme park return where even Spielberg himself couldn't bring the magic back a second time.

With jabs at everything from its awkward title — "Should that be the other way around? No? Okay..." — to its generic reusing of trademarks high-points from the first film, no comedic expenses are missed. Unlike Jeff Goldblum, the returning lead in this 1997 sequel who somehow ends up a complete and total bore. It's a fitting reminder of how bad the Jurassic Park movies can be when they are completely unnecessary. Which doesn't give much hope for what Colin Trevorrow cooks up this weekend.

That said, early word of mouth on the movie is pretty good so far, but official reviews are embargoed until tomorrow, so expect to get an idea then on just how good or bad this movie is compared to the last films in the series. One thing's for certain, though, with box office analysis expecting it to debut with $110 million, audiences aren't too concerned with what early reports suggest.

Let's just hope there's no gymnastic-empowered dino kills in this one. Please. Check out the Honest Trailer below:
