It's the Finals countdown. Get it? NBA Finals. NHL Finals. Season Finales. See what I did there? Clever, right? Oh, you didn’t think so? Ok, whatever. But still. This is a week of finales. The sports world is a buzz with a multitude of things going on. So we take a look at what’s going on in This Week in Television:

NHL Stanley Cup Finals
The Chicago Blackhawks beat out the Tampa Bay Lightning Monday night in a victory of 2-0. This marks the Blackhawks third Stanley Cup in just six years’ time. This is also the Blackhawks first title that it’s won in front of its own home crowd in over 77 years. In an almost mirror scenario of that of the NBA Finals, after favoring Blackhawks won its first game it would then lead to a two game losing streak in tight bouts. However, even with the seemingly slow start, the team would rally together for a couple of wins for its next two games. They would then use that momentum to avoid the uncertainty that a Game 7 would bring. Although the Warriors have yet to take part in Game 6, we’ll see if it’ll follow suit.

NBA Finals
The Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers are currently in an all-out battle for the NBA title. After the Cavs were riddled with injury after injury it appeared as if it were only a matter of time before the Warriors’ and league MVP Steph Curry would steamroll through them for the title. But the Cavs are giving it’s all and are giving the Warriors a run for its money. However, after Game 3 it seemed as if the tables had turned and that the Cavs could possibly take it but the Warriors made a few tweaks that could potentially win it the coveted championship. The series is 3-2 (At present time). Game 6 is on. And after such an exciting series, we’re crossing our fingers for a Game 7!

FIFA Women’s World Cup
Even while much controversy has surrounded FIFA this past month, the games are still on. The US Women’s National Team is set to face Nigeria Tuesday in the final set to make it past the group round.

We wish them luck!

WWE Monday Night RAW
The night after the company’s Money in the Bank PPV, the WWE's traveling circus rolled into Cleveland for another weekly edition of Monday Night Raw. Although the episode was pretty boring, there was one moment that stood out. After the RAW special guest host, Cleveland born rapper Machine Gun Kelly, made a notsosurprise performance (Why WWE pays these artists’ to perform for a non-caring wrestling crowd, I don’t know.) that left the audience rushing for their remotes, NXT champion Kevin Owens, being the nice guy that he is, came out to give him a round of ‘applause’. However, in a scene that will surely make a future highlight reel, after Owen denied him a handshake, MGK would push him to the way. Leading Owen to pop-up powerbombing the hometown boy off the stage. Funny stuff. You can check it out below:

And another Cleveland boy decided to join the party as well, Cleveland Browns future Hall of Fame QB Johnny Manziel. Yes, THAT Johnny Manziel was in attendance for the show and gave a quick backstage interview:
