Anthony Riley, 28, a contestant on this most recent season of The Voice, was found dead on Friday. Early reports indicate that his death was an apparent suicide.

As previously reported it was during the battle rounds that Riley decided to leave The Voice to deal with personal and medical issues.

Former Voice contestants, India Carney, Bria Kelly, Kimberly Nichole and host Carson Daily took to Twitter to express their condolences.

NBC issued a statement regarding The Voice contestant, "We are sad over the passing of Anthony Riley. We offer our deepest condolences to his friends and family during this very difficult time."

Riley was a stand out on The Voice, getting all four coaches to turn around his blind audition of "I Got You (I Feel Good)." In his blind audition he set a record for having all four coaches turning around in the shortest amount of time. He was a member of Team Pharrell and also sang "Get Ready" in his battle with Travis Ewing.
