To celebrate the 25th anniversary of its TV movies, Lifetime let Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig make the Lifetime movie to end all Lifetime movies. The comedy stars secretly filmed A Deadly Adoption, a movie that makes fun of Lifetime’s own movies and we finally have a teaser to really confirm it exists.

Since news of the project leaked back in April around April Fools Day, you could be excused for being skeptical about its existence. But last week, a billboard announcing that A Deadly Adoption will air on June 20 appeared in Hollywood. Today, Lifetime released an ominous 20-second teaser, which shows Ferrell with a bloodied shoulder. We also see him cozying up to Jessica Lowndes, who stars as a pregnant woman.

Ferrell and Wiig play a successful couple who decide to take care of Lowndes, with the goal of adopting the baby. However, things go wrong... very wrong.

A Deadly Adoption was directed by Rachel Lee Goldenberg and written by The Spoils of Babylon’s Andrew Steele.
