After the dreadlock drama at the 2015 Academy Awards, Zendaya faced another hair scandal when she sported a short bob at the BET Awards.
Her Twitter followers did not approve of the hairstyle whatsoever calling it a mommy wig or claiming she looked like Mandrake from Dexter’s Lab.
According to ET Online, Zendaya responded to the negative tweets with a positive attitude.
She tweeted, “When people don’t like your hair but they tweetin bout you tho #idgaf #idgaf.”
She even posted a video on twitter of her taking off her wig to reveal her real hair.
On the red carpet, Zendaya told an ET reporter about her ever-changing hairstyles. “Everyone knows I like to change my hairstyle every other day, so I wanted to be short today – and that’s why!”
Zendaya strongly supports body image and wants every woman to feel beautiful just the way they are. And she isn’t afraid to call out the haters on social media.
The Shake It up star stood up for makeup artist Shannon C after a Twitter account called her ugly without makeup.
