Tonight’s episode begins with flashbacks hours before eviction in which Austin thinks it is a good idea to tell Jason about the twin twist. I seriously question this game move. Austin talks with Liz in the hammock before they switch for the 13th time about maybe telling Jason a little about the twist to try and limit themselves as targets. He pulls Jason aside and tells him about the twins. Jason suspected this the whole time and wonders why Austin is telling him this. Austin even tells Jason he would sacrifice his game for Liz.

Austin clearly has a crush on Liz. 17 hours before eviction Jason informs Meg about the twins and Austin’s master plan to get himself and Liz to jury so they can spend time together. Hmm. I wonder that the twins will think of this. It gets better. Austin is even slightly throwing Julia under the bus. They tell Vanessa and Shelli, who obviously already know. They play dumb and act surprised. They inform Clay of what has happened. It seems that The Sixth Sense alliance might be questioning their loyalty to Austin since he made this questionable decision to reveal the twin twist.

It is day 36 in the BB house and Jackie and Vanessa are in power this week. They talk targets for this week. Jackie mentions Liz and Steve. She also mentions that Liz is close with Austin. Vanessa is 100% on board with this plan. Jackie also mentions Austin as a target. Jackie wants to be the sole HOH. Vanessa agrees to work out a deal. Austin was behind Jeff’s blindside eviction a couple weeks ago, but he himself might be a victim of that very soon.

We visit Jackie and Vanessa’s HOH rooms. James is in love with Vanessa’s mom and Julia is going to turn on the charm to avoid being a target. Vanessa has been loyal to Austin since day one. She is going to determine if he is the one that leaked the twin twist. She immediately knows he is lying. Austin is not a good liar. It seems Vanessa is very skeptical of Austin. He is playing too emotional and it is going to cost him.

Vanessa then tells Julia that the twin twist is out in the open. She tells Julia about Austin’s feelings for Liz. Julia doesn’t think Liz feels the same way. Vanessa tells Julia everything Austin has done. Julia is FURIOUS. Austin’s emotional game is going to be the end of him. It appears that The Sixth Sense alliance is almost done. Vanessa is very intelligent. The main target appears to be Austin or Liz. Clay suggest going up next to Becky as pawns and win BOTB. Becky is also on board with the plan.

Austin has now become public enemy number one and the target to be backdoored. Jackie and Vanessa talk with James, Meg and Jason about their plan and this is the birth of a new alliance…Dark Moon. Clay and Becky will win BOTB and dethrone Vanessa, leaving Jackie the sole HOH. It sounds like a good plan on paper. Will they be able to execute it?

The Nomination Ceremony arrives and goes as planned. Jackie nominates James and Liz(Julia). Vanessa nominates Clay and Becky. They all play the parts perfectly. John doesn’t know what to do since he isn’t nominated this week. They switch for the 14th time and Julia decides not to tell Liz about the Austin situation. I’m shocked she didn’t say anything. I was somebody that was pulling for Austin but the way he is playing the game is starting to sway me.

The Battle of the Block competition this week is paying homage to Big Brother 16. In this competition the two teams must throw paint all over the walls or each other and unscramble the names of three HG from last season that were seen at an Outback Steakhouse. I do enjoy some Outback. The plan is to have Clay and Becky win to keep Operation Backdoor Austin a go. Clay and Becky are working well together. Liz and James are not. I know James is trying to throw the comp. but Liz is actually catching on quickly. The plan quickly goes south as Liz and James foil the plan and win BOTB. Clay and Becky will remain nominated.

Vanessa is the sole HOH. Clay and Becky look devastated. I thought Shelli was going to cry. This was not the plan, but there is still a good possibility they can backdoor Austin. A critical POV looms this Wednesday night on Big Brother!

Thoughts from tonight’s episode:

+ Why would Austin spill the beans about the twins ONE WEEK before they both enter the game? Awful game move.

Vanessa joins Shelli as the second person to have two HOH victories so far this season.

James is apparently head over heels in love with Vanessa’s mom. Weird.

Dark Moon alliance has potential. I wonder how long it will last.

This is the first week of the season that John hasn’t been nominated. Johnny Mac remains for another week!

Meg has the most annoying voice…ever
