Julie welcomes us to another live eviction. She discusses Audrey’s odd behavior since her game was completely exposed and she is 100% alone in the house. We jump back to Day 33 in the house where the HG are all shocked that Audrey skipped out on the POV Meeting. They question what her next move is going to be. Audrey has been exposed and she knows it and doesn’t want to face the reality.
We flashback six hours before the veto meeting and see Audrey alienate herself and run to the diary room. The HG question if she is leaving the game since she has been in the diary room for a long time. They even possibly suspect this could be a game move. They also all admit they have no personal problem with Audrey. I personally think she is doing it for attention and sympathy. Austin has no problem saying that he is pissed off because she has been exposed. I like it.
The HG ultimately decide that they want Audrey to play the game out and with class. They don’t want her to just bail out. An hour before the veto meeting, she leaves the diary room and rushes back into solitude in her room. She was in there for five hours. Wow. They feel that Audrey is emotionally done. Audrey continues to separate herself from the house and at this point, she should just leave the honorable way. She should go out playing the game, so many people would do anything to be in her position.
The studio audience is loud as Julie chats with the HG. Julie chats with Jason and brings up the dreadful Whackstreet Boys. Can we just forget that happened? Julie shows a tweet from The Backstreet Boys giving them credit for the boyband. We then have to see a live performance of The Whackstreet Boys. It won’t go away.
We then get a glimpse into Audrey’s personal life. We go to her hometown and meet her family. They are very proud of her and completely support her decision. It is always interesting to me to see the HG’s families watching the show. They do think that she might have jumped into the game a little strong. I think she has played a terrible game but I respect the decisions she has made with her life and support her.
It is time for the live eviction. Audrey is already down 1-0 due to a penalty vote for eating when she was a Have-Not. Audrey knows that she is going home tonight. John continues to be awkward as usual during his speech. I’m predicting this vote to be a clean sweep. Austin to throw a curveball secretly votes to evict John. My theory was wrong. A 9-1 vote sees Audrey as the next person evicted from the house. She blows right past everybody and heads out. She knew it all along.
Audrey looks a little nervous sitting next to Julie. Audrey has no words to describe how she felt that all of the HG accepted her as a transgender. She thinks her allies turned on her because they were voting with the house. The good-bye messages are very interesting. I especially liked Steve’s very nice message.
We head to the backyard to crown two new HOH’s this week. “Pop Until You Drop” is the next competition. Two HG battle each other and listen to short pop songs that have to do with competitions. They must select if it was HOH, BOTB or POV. The winner then picks the next two competitors. Steve and Jason are the first two HG to square off. Jason quickly takes out Steve and calls out Austin and John. Austin beats John and he selects Jackie and Becky. The two floaters must battle! Jackie beats Becky. Liz and Vanessa are the next two chosen. Vanessa eliminates Liz and picks Jackie and Meg. This is a long HOH comp. The Sixth Sense is trying to keep the power in the house.
Jackie eliminates Meg and James eliminates Austin. TSS alliance numbers are running low. Vanessa eliminates Clay. She is the last hope for TSS. She selects James and Jackie. The winner of this will be the first HOH. James takes a wild guess and picks HOH. He is wrong and Jackie is the first HOH. Vanessa and Jason are battling for the second HOH. Vanessa nails it and picks up her 2nd HOH. This means that TSS is potentially going to keep the power this week.
Britney from Big Brother 12 joins Julie to talk about this season. She loves this season because of the different houseguests. She loves Jason and thinks Vanessa is a great player. “Who doesn’t love Johnny Mac right now?” she says. She thinks Vanessa has a great shot to win, along with either Clay or Shelli.
The twins must survive one more week of evictions and they both get to play the game as individuals. Julie does her usual plugs and then eavesdrop on the house right after the HOH.
Random thoughts on tonight’s episode:
I’m pretty sure Audrey is the first person to not attend a POV Meeting.
John has been nominated all four weeks and has survived them all. The awkward dentist lives to fight another day.
I give James credit. He did a very noble move by taking Audrey food. Classy move.
I hate The Whackstreet Boys. That’s all.
Austin is the sole vote to evict John. He is trying to keep it interesting. I like it.
I am going to play a new Big Brother drinking game. I’m going to take a shot every time Shelli cries or John yells in the diary room.
Vanessa wins her 2nd HOH in three weeks. She is going to try and keep The Sixth Sense in power.
Who will Jackie and Vanessa nominate for eviction? Who will win the next Battle of the Block?
