Phil Rudd, drummer for AC/DC, was arrested in New Zealand Saturday night, just a week after being sentenced to eight months of house arrest for threatening to kill a former employee, according to the New Zealand Herald.

Rudd’s lawyer, Craig Tuck, told the Associated Press that the 61-year-old was being held ahead of a scheduled Monday court appearance but police did not comment on the nature of this arrest.

The rocker previously pleaded guilty in April to charges of threatening to kill a former employee along with possession of methamphetamine and marijuana. At his sentencing, Judge Thomas Ingram told Rudd that he would go to prison if he broke the terms of his house arrest, which consists of 24-hour monitoring and prohibits him from taking any nonprescription drugs.

Judge Ingram told Rudd, “I stone-cold guarantee that’s where you’ll end up. I’m not your headmaster, I’m not your father -- I’m a judge.”

AC/DC is currently on tour for their latest album, Rock or Bust with Chris Slade taking over on drums. The band is set to play their next show in Sweden on Sunday.
