Have you ever had to beg a passerby on the street to zip up your dress? If so you are not alone. Well you are alone, clearly, but you aren’t the only person who has enlisted in the kindness of a stranger to help you finish getting dressed. Amy Schumer stopped by last night to promote her film Trainwreck and shared her experience.
In the video Schumer describes a recent scenario in which she selected a dress that was a tad snug and she couldn’t zip up herself. She decided to “go out in the street, and just wait for somebody that looked like they weren’t a monster.” It ended up taking a second person to help hold Schumer’s dress as one zipped, but in the end the dress zipped.
It has been a great week for Schumer, her series Inside Amy Schumer received a handful of Primetime Emmy nominations, including Lead Actress in a Comedy and Best Directing in a Comedy Series. Schumer’s film Trainwreck which she wrote and starred in is in theaters now.
