Paul Rudd just won’t let it go, and that’s fine by us.
The Ant-Man star visited Conan O’Brien’s show to promote his film. O’Brien reminded Rudd and the audience of a running gag between Rudd and O’Brien.
“You did this one thing consistently, which is you say we are going to see a clip, and I throw to what I think is a clip and it turns out to be a clip from this terrible ET rip-off called Mac and Me and you have done this to me, I think about 30 times.”
Rudd goes on to apologize that he won’t be able to show the Mac and Me clip in place of Ant-Man because it would upset Marvel. Fortunately, the clip of Ant-Man begins according to plan, but Morphs into Mac and Me, keeping the prank alive.
Ant-Man which stars Rudd is a Marvel comic. Rudd has also been credited as a co-writer for the film alongside Adam McKay. The film is in theaters now.
