Julie Chen welcomes us to tonight’s live eviction. Julie also reminds us of the Last Laugh twist and it will be used tonight during the eviction.
We go back inside the house right after the POV Ceremony. Da’Vonne is upset and knows Meg is clearly a pawn and she is 100% the target. Shelli is upset over what she has done, even though she was HOH and this was her plan all along. The emotions always run high during POV and the closer we get to eviction. Alliance 1 as I have deemed them so far consists of Jason, James, Da’Vonne and Meg discuss any potential chance that one or both of them could stay this week. I’m honestly ready for MamaDa to go.
The BBTakeover music plays and the HG run inside and see an old telephone booth set up in the living room. The irritating Kathy Griffin makes another appearance and tells the house she will be calling 15 times with “tips” and one of the phone calls will give a HG the “last laugh.” America already knows that whoever answers the seventh call will win this power. They all randomly answer the phone and Clay makes a comment about seven being his lucky number. Da’Vonne obviously uses this and answers the phone instead and she wins the power. She can now eliminate three people from voting on eviction night. She plays it cool when she comes out but in the pantry is ecstatic over gaining this power.
Da’Vonne tells Jason that she won the Last Laugh twist and has to now figure out who to eliminate from voting. Clay is obviously not going to vote. The other two she will pick I’m not quite sure. Da’Vonne continues her quest to stay this week by campaigning for votes from John, Vanessa and Audrey. I never thought I would see Audrey and Da’Vonne ever shake hands on a deal. Clay and Shelli are cuddling up in the HOH room watching everything on the TV. Clay suspects that Da’Vonne won the power and figures he won’t be voting this week. Da’Vonne should still be evicted but it might be a closer vote than expected.
It seems that the Twin Twist could have been solved. Da’Vonne is sitting outside and talks with Jason and eventually the rest of the house about the different ways you can tell the difference between Liz and her accused twin. They have switched a total of seven times and it seems that their luck could be out. Da’Vonne STILL on her mission to stay pulls Liz aside and tells her that the entire house thinks she has a twin. Liz obviously acts completely surprised and brushes it off. She is on the nomination block but Da’Vonne has this Last Laugh power which might save her.
We are about to do the 2nd Live Eviction of the season, but first Julie tells us the winner of the Last Laugh twist who remains anonymous to the house has chosen the three HG that aren’t voting tonight. Becky, Jeff and Jackie are the three not voting tonight. I’m surprised by that. Da’Vonne and Meg give their final speeches, with Da’Vonne calling out the group that targeted her this week and that she is a strong player. Meg took a different approach by offering that she has so much more game left to play.
Jason, Clay, John and Audrey are the first four to vote. We are tied 2-2. I’m not sure who is leaving at this point. It seems that MamaDa’s luck has run out as Austin, Julia(Liz’s twin), Vanessa, James and Steve all vote for Da’Vonne to leave the house. Julie informs the house by a vote of 7-2, Da’Vonne is evicted from the Big Brother house. Da’Vonne says good-bye to her close friends in the house. I’m so happy she is gone Julie talks with Da’Vonne after her eviction and asks her about the twin twist. Da’Vonne calls the house cowards because she was evicted…not Audrey. Da’Vonne says HG aren’t nominating her because of her coming out as a transgender and the biggest mistake she made in the game was being too vocal.
The HG are in the kitchen when the BBTakeover music hits and they rush to the living room. Rob Gronkowski aka Gronk comes on the screen and says this week will have no Have-Not’s. He tells the HG to go into the backyard for the HOH competition. Tonight’s HOH competition looks like a giant game of beer pong. The competition is called “Gronk Pong” and each HG shoots their ball into cups from the numbers 1-55. The blue cups are numbers 49-55 and the two HG with the highest numbers are the two HOH’s for the week.
A random draw determines the order and Liz is first up. She gets 23. Jackie does an epic fail and doesn’t even hit the cups. ‘Crazy’ John also does a big fail and doesn’t hit the cups at all. I wonder if being on live TV right now is affecting them. James gets 23 and they are tied currently. I hope Audrey doesn’t win this. She gets 17. My dark horse for this game Clay goes up there and gets 6. Jeff does a solid shot but only scores 14. James and Liz are still tied.
Becky becomes the third person to score a 0. I thought they practiced this? My other dark horse Austin scores a 28 and now takes the lead. Jason’s ball goes off the cup and he scores a 0. Meg gets 1. She has done better than several so far. Steve’s goes off the cup like Jason’s, giving him 0. Vanessa is the last HG to shoot. Vanessa also scores a 23. Liz, James and Vanessa do a tiebreaker. They each get one shot to see who joins HOH along with Austin. Liz scores a 22, James a 35 and Vanessa a 52 which means Vanessa is the 2nd HOH this week!
I like the Austin/Vanessa combination of HOH this week. Who will Austin and Vanessa nominate for eviction? Who will win the Battle of the Block?
Find out this Sunday night at 8pm!
