Bill Murray rarely makes public appearances, but when he does he never disappoints.
According to the LA Times, Murray attended the event to promote his new comedy Rock the Kasbah. The actor entered the convention in style by sporting some cool sunglasses and a bandanna on his head.
Murray talked about his time on Ghostbusters and his experience with his current movie, but he surprised the audience when he brought up singer Miley Cyrus.
Cyrus appears on Murray’s Netflix Christmas special that is directed by Sofia Coppola, and he had only good things to say about her.
ET Online reports that Murray was originally skeptical about Cyrus, “I thought she was a knucklehead crazy girl that you’d want to go on a road trip with.”
After spending time with her, he was proven wrong. “I’m going to say this officially: Miley Cyrus is good. I was not convinced, but Miley Cyrus is really f**king good. She can sing.”
Even George Clooney approves of Cyrus, according to Murray. “I don’t want to hear anymore bad rapping of Miley Cyrus. We’ll leave that for Rick Ross.”
