The Piano Man Billy Joel has gotten married to long time girlfriend Alexis Roderick at their annual Fourth of July party on Saturday.

The 66-year-old singer and his new 33-year-old bride, have been together since 2009, after meeting at a restaurant in Huntington, Long Island, according to Newsday. They married at Joel’s mansion on Centre Island, Long Island.

New York Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo officiated the wedding after the State Legislature granted him the right to officiate weddings on June 25. He also officiated two same-sex weddings since. Joel has backed Cuomo at several fundraisers over the past four years.

Back in April, Joel announced that he and Roderick were expecting their first child together. Joel has a 29-year-old daughter, Alexa Ray Joel, with his second wife, Christie Brinkley.

Daily News reports that the wedding was a small one. Alexa Ray was in attendance as well as Kevin James, who came up on stage during Joel’s record-breaking Madison Square Garden show on Wednesday.

Joel recently told Newsday that he was excited about the upcoming birth of his daughter.

"I'm probably going to be able to spend more time with this kid than most people are able to spend with their children, because I don't have a regular job," he said. "I could be a stay-at-home dad for as long as I can stay alive."
