The investigation into where Peaches Geldof got her deadly stash of heroin before she overdosed last year has been closed by British police.

The mother of two died at the age of 25 on April 7, 2014. Police found heroin and syringes in her home and a coroner ruled her death as an accidental overdose.

According to The AP, an investigation into where Geldof, the daughter of musician Bob Geldof, got the drugs has come up inconclusive.

Police say they have “exhausted all lines of inquiry” in the case and have decided to close it. Should any new leads come up, Detective Superintendent Paul Fotheringham of Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate confirmed detectives would reopen it.

In 2000, when Geldof was 11, her mother Paula Yates died of a heroin overdose. Her father is devastated over his daughter’s death, saying at the time "We are beyond pain.”
