Boy George and Culture Club had a special guest at their concert in Los Angeles on Friday night, Caitlyn Jenner.
According to a video posted by Entertainment Tonight, the 65-year-old Olympic champion and reality television star was greeted by a standing ovation as she introduced the group who rose to fame in the 1980’s.
As Jenner took the stage she addressed the crowd by saying, “Caitlyn Jenner in the house for her first Boy George concert! This is going to be a good group. Thank you so much. Enough about me. Thank you for being here tonight. Um, this is going to be so much fun for me and let’s hear it here at the Greek Theatre for Boy George! Let’s get it going!”
Boy George thanked the crowd for their response telling them, “I expected a standing ovation and I wasn’t disappointed. We need to celebrate the kinds of changes that are happening.”
Jenner wore a black leather biker jacket over a form-fitting dress and black leather high heel boots, according to E! News.
Caitlyn Jenner was not Boy George’s only guest of the evening with Jack Black, actor and member of rock band Tenacious D, joined the singer on stage to perform David Bowie’s 1972 song, “Starman.”
