Ciara and Russell Wilson made their debut as an official couple a couple months back and now the NFL star has revealed they’re staying abstinent until marriage.
Wilson brought Ciara, who has a son with ex-fiance Future, as his date to the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in April and they’ve been going strong ever since.
During a Q&A session at The Rock church on Sunday, Wilson talked about their decision to wait to have sex until they get married, Just Jared reports.
He called her the “most beautiful woman in the world,” and the “most kind person, the most engaging person, everything I could ever want.”
“I was looking at her in the mirror, sitting in her dressing room and God spoke to me and said, ‘I need you to lead her…’” he explained.
“So I told her right then and there, ‘What would you do if we took all that extra stuff off the table and do it Jesus’ way?’ We’re talking about sex. But for me, I knew that God brought me into her life to bless her and for her to bless me.”
