Now that Russell Wilson has spilled the beans that he and his girlfriend, Ciara, have decided to remain celibate until marriage, they have both been asked about it in interviews.

He first talked about it earlier this month during a Q&A session at The Rock church.

“I was looking at her in the mirror, sitting in her dressing room and God spoke to me and said, ‘I need you to lead her…’” he said. “So I told her right then and there, ‘What would you do if we took all that extra stuff off the table and do it Jesus’ way?’ We’re talking about sex. But for me, I knew that God brought me into her life to bless her and for her to bless me.”

Ciara has explained they get through it by taking it day by day. “You go one day at a time, and keep [the romance] going with each other. It's alright,” she said, Us Weekly reports.

As for Wilson, who has acknowledged it’s been difficult, he told Access Hollywood Ciara is “one of a kind.”

Wilson and Ciara went public with their relationship in April when she accompanied him to the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
