After a long hiatus, two of Comedy Central's best shows are headed back to the air this fall.
Comedy Central has confirmed in a press release that Season 19 of South Park will begin on Wednesday, September 16th. The upcoming season will consist of 10 episodes, but there's plenty of more South Park to come after that, as the show was recently renewed up to Season 23, as we previously reported.
Meanwhile, the season premiere was also announced for another great Comedy Central show. The brilliant documentary series Nathan For You will be returning for its third season on October 15th, and Nathan Fielder took to Twitter to celebrate the news in the most Nathan Fielder way possible. That show, which follows Nathan as he puts unorthodox ideas into practice on real small businesses, has been off the air for well over a year now, so this return is more than welcome.
This is great news for Comedy Central fans, especially after the huge blow that came when the network announced the end of Key and Peele this week, as we previously reported. Thankfully, there's still plenty to look forward to on the channel in the months to come. Also on the horizon is the debut of Trevor Noah on The Daily Show on September 28, the new animated series Moonbeam City, the return of TripTank, and a new stand-up special from comedian Steve Rannazzisi.
