Three days ago Daniel Radcliff found out that he won the Rear of the Year award and he couldn’t be prouder.
The Rear of the Year award is a competition in the U.K. that celebrates British butts.
The award has been around for four decades and past winner have been Olly Murs, Graham Norton, and Kym Marsh.
Radcliff’s rear end beat out actor Jamie Dornan and tennis player Andy Murray reports E! Online.
“I’ve been campaigning for years,” jokes Radcliff when E! News asked about the award. “It’s a thing we do in England, but I guess you don’t do it in America. I was going to say if you don’t do it in America, maybe my award counts kind of globally.”
Radcliff has shown off his backside in multiple indie films and on the Broadway stage. It is hard for everyone to forget when he bared it all during the play Equus.
He thanked everyone who voted for him, “It’s a very prestigious honor. I promise to…get it out a lot more in the future.”
