With the Season 2 premiere still 9 months away, Daredevil has officially started filming in New York City.
According to Comic Book Movie, the cast of Daredevil was seen shooting Season 2 in East Harlem under the codename "Ringside." Some images from the set were posted online via photographer Shelly Kay.
As we previously reported, Season 2 of Daredevil will feature the debut of The Punisher, played by Jon Bernthal, a character who is also rumored to get his own Netflix show down the line.
The Netflix original series from Marvel has been massively popular, quickly becoming the highest rated show on the streaming service. It's been praised for its action sequences and for being the darkest story told yet in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
In addition to Jon Bernthal, Season 2 of Daredevil will star returning cast members Charlie Cox, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, and Rosario Dawson. It's expected to be released in April of 2016. All 13 episodes of Season 1 are now available for streaming on Netflix.
