Apparently DeAndre Jordan isn’t going anywhere as he re-signed with the Los Angeles Clippers early Thursday morning.

According to ESPN, the deal is for four years and worth an estimated $88 million. Jordan can opt out of the deal after three years. The deal also includes a 15 percent trade kicker, Yahoo Sports notes.

The re-signing comes as a surprise as Jordan had agreed to a four-year, $80 million deal with the Dallas Mavericks on July 3.The Clippers collapse in the playoffs and the Mavericks wanting to give Dirk Nowitzki a shot at another championship were factors in Jordan agreeing to a deal with the Mavericks. Within 48 hours of that agreement Jordan reached out to Clippers coach and president Doc Rivers and expressed uncertainty about joining the Mavericks. On Wednesday Clippers management arrived in Houston to get Jordan to stay with the Clippers. Mavericks owner Mark Cuban also arrived in Houston on Wednesday to persuade Jordan to fulfill his commitment to the Mavericks. Cuban got into a Twitter war with ESPN’s Chris Broussard, calling Broussard’s reports ridiculous and writing to Broussard, “that's is the dumbest s**t Ive ever heard. If you had any ethics u would msg me and I will give u his address.”

Jordan has led the NBA in rebounding in each of the last two seasons. He averaged 11.5 points and 15 rebounds per game last season, which are career highs, according to the Associated Press. He helped the Clippers get to within a win of the Western Conference Finals.

With Jordan re-signing the Clippers lineup now includes Blake Griffin, Chris Paul, Paul Pierce, Lance Stephenson and Wesley Matthews. It will be interesting to see if the Clippers can win a championship next season.
