Demi Lovato is not in any rush to get married, but if her boyfriend, Wilmer Valderrama were to propose, she would, without a doubt, say yes.
The couple, who have been dating on and off since 2010, has credited her man for sticking with her and helping her through her months in rehab and continued to help her stay sober and healthy during the years that follow.
"I am very, very in love with him,” the 22-year-old told Australian radio station ZM, according to Contact Music. “I think we will probably wait a little bit longer [before we get engaged], but if he asked me tomorrow I would say yes."
The “Cool For the Summer” singer and the actor did experience some controversy when they first started dating however, due to a 13 year age gap, notes Us Weekly.
“I was 18 and he was 30 so people were definitely judgmental and even my parents were kind of, ‘Why is someone his age wanting to date someone so young?’” she said. “And after a while everyone around us started to see that what we have was real and incredible and very special, and we’ve been together ever since. Obviously my family loves him [now]. People kind of stop doing that because you can see when we’re together or even just from our Instagrams that we’re very sweet to one another.”
