The 2025 ESPYS were last night, with comedian Joel McHale handling hosting duties. While the ceremony is usually aired on ESPN, ABC aired it for the first time, like from Los Angeles.

The most-talked about moment of the night came when Caitlyn Jenner received the Arthur Ashe Courage Award. It was the first time she had made an official public appearance since coming forward about her transition in an interview with Diane Sawyer.

However, there were other awards to hand out to athletes to honor their achievements from the past year. Another special award, the Jimmy V Perseverance Award, went to Cincinnati Bengals player Devon Still and his daughter, Leah, who battled cancer. The Pat Tillman Award for Service went to former athlete Danielle Green, who served in the military.
