Florida State is in the headlines for the wrong reasons again. An arrest warrant has been issued for the school’s running back Dalvin Cook for battery of a 21-year old woman.

Cook is accused of punching the 21-year old women in the face multiple times during an argument outside a Tallahassee bar last month. The police report of the incident says the women was intoxicated and suffered minor abrasion/bruises from the incident, according to the Tallahassee Democrat. The woman was able to identify the suspect to police. Florida state attorney Willie Meggs said Friday that Cook will be charged with misdemeanor battery, ESPN reports.

"I found the women to be very credible," Meggs said.

Cook had a big year as a freshman last year. He rushed for 1,008 yards and eight touchdowns in his rookie season last year, according to CBS Sports. He had three straight 100-plus yard rushing games to end the season. This year Cook is scheduled to be the starting running back for Florida State.

The Cook incident happened one day before former Florida State quarterback De’Andre Johnson was charged with misdemeanor battery for punching a woman. Johnson was dismissed from the team on Monday after video of the incident was published.
