Giuliana Rancic is putting all the rumors to rest!
Rancic has opened up about her departure from E! News and is clearing those rumors of her reasoning behind it. "It was 100 percent my decision to leave. I brought up the idea to leave three years ago, but E! News kept extending me because they wanted me to stay,” Rancic explained to People magazine on Friday.
The E! News co-host released a statement announcing that she is leaving after 14 years as co-host, but will continue as co-host of E! Live from the Red Carpet and co-host of Fashion Police.
Another rumor that Rancic shot down was the rumor that she is feuding with one of the newest members of the E! News family, Maria Menounos. She called the rumors “absurd” and admitted that “never had a feud or drama” with any of the E! News members.
The Giuliana & Bill star also spoke about her feelings toward her future replacement after she finishes her last day on the daily entertainment news talk show on August 10th. She said that she does not know who is being considered for the job, but “whoever is added to the show, I will be supportive of and happy for.” She also said that she is "looking forward to the announcement!"
After Rancic finishes her duties as E! News co-host, as her statement read, she will focus on her wine and clothing lines as well as executive produce Rich in Faith. She described this period in her life as “thrilling” and she thanked “the gang at E! for understanding” her decision.
