Hannibal Buress wanted to prove that not a lot of people know who Meek Mill is, despite his feud with Drake dominating the headlines this week, at least no one he talked to in Beverly Hills.
During Wednesday’s episode of Why?, he asked random people in Beverly Hills the question, “Who is Meek Mill?”
He got a lot of blank stares and replies to the effect of “Never heard of him,” but at least one person knew he’s “sleeping with Nicki Minaj.”
One woman responded to Mill’s claims that Drake doesn’t write his own songs, saying “So what? Everybody steals everything. This is Beverly Hills!”
Buress also asked people if they knew who Drake was and most didn’t. One woman asked, “Is that like Drake and Josh? From Disney?”
Since Mill’s tweets about Drake, the “6 God” rapper has released two diss tracks called “Charged Up” and “Back to Back.”
“Trigger fingers turn to Twitter fingers, You getting bodied by a singing n---a,” Drake raps in “Back to Back," and "Is that a world tour or your girl's tour?”
