Disney's High School Musical debuted in 2006 and took the pop culture world by storm. Now, nine years later, members of the cast reunited to help support and celebrate Kenny Ortega’s latest project Descendants.

Ortega posted a picture of the reunited cast which featured Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu, Olesya Rulin, Monique Coleman and Lucas Grabeel, on Instagram with the caption, "What team? Wildcats! And how I love you all! Thank you for celebrating with me."

The reunion took place on Friday at the premiere of the latest Disney Channel Original Movie, Descendants, which is being helmed by Ortega. Notably absent from the photo was the two leads of HSM, Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens.

Tisdale also took to social media to celebrate the union and thanked Ortega for changing all of their lives by casting them in the now famous teen musical.

Descendants will be airing on Disney Channel on Friday, July 31.
