Early Wednesday morning, three armed robbers broke into Chris Brown’s new home in the San Fernando Valley and held his aunt hostage in a closet as they rummaged through the house.

Brown was not home at the time of the robbery, instead he was seen partying at Argyle nightclub in Hollywood. He left the club around 2am, about the time the robbery was taking place.

According to TMZ, the robbers held Brown’s aunt at gunpoint and proceeded to steal whatever they could get their hands on; including money. They then fled the scene.

By the time his aunt called 911 and they got to the home, the three men were already gone. The suspects told Brown’s aunt they knew it was the “Loyal” singer’s home and had specifically targeted him.

NBC Los Angeles reports the Tarzana, Calif. home, which he purchased in May for $4.5 million, has a 16-camera surveillance system so new details should be released soon.

Also in May, Brown returned to his home in the Hollywood Hills to a naked woman in his bed, who was charged with felony burglary and vandalism.
