Jaime King announced the birth of her son on Instagram on Monday, four days after the little boy was born.
“We are SO happy to welcome to the world our new baby boy! Born Thursday, July 16th!” she captioned the photo.
The photo consists of her husband, Kyle Newman, holding their first born James Newman with King looking on smiling, while she appears to have just finished breastfeeding. Except her newborn does not seem to be in the photo.
Her husband also took to Instagram to celebrate the birth of their second son writing, “HE'S ARRIVED! So happy to welcome our new baby boy into the world. Born July 16th! Mom & Baby are well. Name coming soon @jaime_king #JamesKnight #TBD.”
His photo consists of his wife and James lying on a hospital bed, again, the baby is no where in sight.
With the birth of the little guy comes a new responsibility for one of King’s closest friends, Taylor Swift. Back in March, Swift took to Instagram to say King and Newman decided to make her the godmother of their child. Last month, Swift threw King a baby shower just one day after her Pittsburgh show off of her “1989 World Tour,” according to Us Weekly.
Jessica Alba - James’ godmother - Gigi Hadid, Sarah Hyland and Nina Dobrev were just some of the star studded guests to celebrate King and her unborn baby.
King and Newman have been married since 2007.
