Judd Apatow, who has been vocal about seeing justice for Bill Cosby after dozens of molestation allegations, is responding to the uncovering of his 2005 deposition where he admitted to drugging women.

Cosby admitted to acquiring seven prescriptions for Quaaludes with the intention of giving them to young women he wanted to have sex with.

Apatow is now urging Cosby’s wife, Camille Cosby and Cosby Show star Phylicia Rashad to withdraw their support for him just as Jill Scott has.

"I don't think there is anything new here. It is only new to people who didn't believe an enormous amount of women who stated clearly that he drugged them,” Apatow told Esquire.

"We shouldn't need Bill Cosby to admit it to believe 40 people who were victimized by him. I am sure there are many victims who have not come forward,” he continued. “I also hope Camille Cosby and Phylicia Rashad will now stand with the victims and not with their attacker."

In Dec. 2014, Apatow tweeted about these allegations, wondering why “some people try so hard to not believe women who have been assaulted,” adding, “What is the root of that?"
