The Hennessy kids are together again!

Kaley Cuoco Sweeting, Amy Davidson, and Martin Spanjers who made up the three Hennessy children on the ABC sitcom 8 Simple Rules had a mini reunion earlier this week. The TV siblings reunited to mark the first anniversary of James Garner’s death, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Cuoco Sweeting posted two photos of the faux-siblings. One captioned, “#8simplerules siblings all growed up forever attached at the hip with these two! @martinspanjers @amy_davidson #johnritter #grandpagarner we miss you every day!” The other was captioned, “Today was pretty magical 🙂 siblings for life #8simplerules #grandpagarner.”

8 Simple Rules aired on ABC for three seasons. The original title of the show was 8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter. The series starred John Ritter and Katey Sagal as Paul and Cate Hennessy, parents raising three children. During the first season Ritter suffered an aortic dissection and passed away. Garner and David Spade were brought on the sitcom to fill the void left by Ritter’s death. Garner played the grandfather, and Spade the cousin to the Hennessey children.

Garner passed away last July, at age 86.
