Kid Rock will still display the Confederate flag at his concerts, even after the Detroit chapter of Al Sharpton’s National Action Network protested him outside his exhibit at the Detroit Historical Museum.

During a segment on Megyn Kelly’s Fox News show The Kelly File, she read aloud a statement from the rocker, telling anyone protesting him can “kiss my a--.”

“PLEASE TELL THE PEOPLE PROTESTING THEY CAN KISS MY AS…K ME SOME QUESTIONS,” she read, The Detroit Free Press reports.

The president of Sharpton’s group’s Michigan chapter, Rev. Charles Williams II, has called Kid Rock the “home-town hero who is a zero with the Confederate flag.”

Kid Rock, a Detroit native, has been one of the city’s biggest supporters. Kelly even defended him against those calling him racist, saying he has a half African American son.

“By the way, I’d like to introduce you to Bobby Jr., Kid Rock‘s African-American son,” she said during the segment. “I wonder if Bobby Jr. knows that his dad is a racist.”
