There has been a lot of controversy surrounding this years Video Music Awards nominations.

Kim Kardashian West claims there is no bad blood between her and Taylor Swift after she posted a caption she wrote on a Twitter photo.

The photo is from a shoot she did with Vogue Spain in which she is lying on the couch, holding her phone in one hand, and a finger up in another writing, “Imma let you finish but…”

The caption was in reference to Kim’s husband Kanye West running up on stage during Taylor’s acceptance speech during the 2010 MTV VMAs, saying, “Yo, Taylor, I'm really happy for you and I'mma let you finish, but Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time. One of the best videos of all time!” The Daily Beast remembers.

Kim took to Twitter to dispel the rumors that quickly came from the photo (which has now been deleted).

“I'm not trying to shade anyone!” she wrote. “That's not my style! I just thought that caption was perfect for that pic! Changing the caption now! #ironic”

Taylor is finding herself in a little Twitter feud with Nicki Minaj, after Nicki took to Twitter is announce her disappointment in MTV not recognizing her music videos “Anaconda” and “Feeling Myself” for Video of the Year.

“If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for vid of the year,” she wrote.

In which Taylor replied (and then deleted), “@NICKIMINAJ I've done nothing but love & support you. It's unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot..”

Nicki then wrote to Taylor saying she loves her and her tweet was not directed at her, but rather how racist the media could be.
