Jon Snow lives! Basically every fan has been convinced of that since Season 5 of Game of Thrones ended, but now we have some pretty great new evidence in support of that theory.

According to Game of Thrones news site Watchers on the Wall, Kit Harington has been spotted heading to Belfast, where much of Game of Thrones' filming takes place.

Season 6 of the show is beginning to film this week, and also on the plane with him was Tom Wlaschiha (Jaqen H’ghar), so it seems pretty clear that Kit is rejoining the rest of the cast for the new season.

Now technically he could just be showing up to play Jon Snow's dead body, the same way Charles Dance was in early Season 5 as Tywin Lannister's rotting corpse. But given all the secrecy surrounding Jon Snow's status, the fact that Harington has been seen in Belfast a number of times during pre-production, and the fact that the actor apparently refuses to take any pictures with fans while there, that seems pretty unlikely. If he's still being spotted in the area in a few weeks, that will pretty much be confirmation.

Jon Snow was of course killed off in the season finale of Game of Thrones last month, but since then fans have been pretty sure he'll be coming back. The popular theory is that Melisandre will resurrect him, and in fact the actress herself, Carice van Houten, said her character would have a big role next season, as we previously reported. Then this week, van Houten actually said that she doesn't think Jon Snow is really dead, according to Digital Spy.

It seems like HBO is committed to keeping up the lie, but don't worry. It looks like the chances of Jon Snow not returning are becoming slimmer and slimmer.
