Kris Jenner has finally met Caitlyn Jenner face-to-face.
E! News has confirmed that the two met at Caitlyn’s Malibu beach house on Tuesday for what turned out to be an emotional get together.
The Daily Mail reports that the 59-year-old reality star spent two hours with her ex-husband, though a source told Hollywood Life that she is not yet ready to have their meeting to be televised. Despite that, it is rumored that their relationship with be addressed heavily on this summer’s I Am Cait, an eight-part docuseries surrounding Caitlyn’s transition into a woman.
Kris and Bruce, before he was Caitlyn, were married for 23 years before their divorce was finalized back in March. They have two children together, Kendall, 19, and Kylie, who is turning 18 next month.
Last month, Kris told Extra at DailyMail’s Seriously Popular Party in Cannes, “I think that someone following their dream is truly inspirational to a lot of people. You have to do what makes you happy.”
While she was absent at the 2015 ESPYs, where Caitlyn accepted the Arthur Ashe Courage Award, Kris was watching.
“I think it was amazing and very brave,” she told Us Weekly. “I think she looked beautiful.”
