Lark Voorhies is coming to her husband’s defense after her mom, Patricia, took out a restraining order against him.
The former Saved By the Bell star married Jimmy Green in Vegas back in April, but Patricia is now claiming she lives in fear of him and worries he might "cause her physical harm." He has admitted to formerly being in a gang.
Voorhies sat down with ET Online and rambled on at some points in the interview, stringing words together that sometimes didn’t make sense.
When ET’s Kevin Frazier asked Green if he had ever been aggressive with Patricia, who Voorhies still lives with, he said he has been "blunt and demanding."
Also in the interview, Voorhies explained “he’s not” trying to take advantage of her like her mother claims. "We're selectively together for all the right reasons,” she said.
She also denied 2012 claims from her mom that she’s bipolar, saying "I've always been mentally healthy” but she did have "textbook clinical depression" at one point.
