Girls actress and creator Lena Dunham announced Tuesday that she and her production partner and showrunner Jenni Konner will be starting a lifestyle newsletter that will focus around, “Feminism, style, health, politics, friendship and everything else.”
Dunham announced via her Instagram that the newsletter will go through email and is set to begin coming out this Fall, according to a story by People Magazine.
Lenny, according to Dunham, will be interactive and feature insight from its readers. “We will strive to bring it all to your inbox and to highlight unique voices. We sure hope yours is one of them.” The announcement photo features Dunham and Konner together.
Other celebrities that have started their own lifestyle website include Gwyneth Paltrow with Goop, Blake Lively with Preserve and Reese Witherspoon with Draper James. Dunham, however, says the feminist mission of Lenny will make hers stand out.
“We want it to be an inclusive space. We’re not making any assumptions about your identity. We’re making the assumption that you’re passionate and you care about other people’s emotions and style and you just want to live a more connected life,” Dunham said.
