Matt Damon stepped out in China on Thursday sporting an unexpected new accessory – a ponytail.
Damon was in Bejing, China to promote his latest film, the Zhang Yimou-directed The Great Wall, which also stars Andy Lau, Jing Tian and Pedro Pascal.
He ditched his usual clean-cut look to sport a ponytail, reminiscent of Jared Leto’s headline-grabbing man bun, but it’s not known if it’s for an upcoming role or a personal choice.
However, Esquire reports it's for a role.
At any rate, the 44-year-old dad of four looks better than ever with more hair than ever before.
Of course, Twitter users have reacted to Damon’s new look and the consensus seems to be that the ponytail should stay.
