For some celebrities finalizing a divorce takes longer than the 24-hour process Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert just went through. For Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas it took a little more than year.
TMZ reported that the two have each signed the necessary legal paperwork for their divorce, which will be official as soon as a judge signs off on it.
"It's been over for a while," a source close to Banderas told People Magazine. "There's not a lot of drama with the two of them. They're at the point where they can be civil to each other. They're doing this in a healthy way. I know that Antonio is looking forward to the next chapter in his life."
As previously reported, the couple announced in June of 2014 that they were divorcing after 18 years of marriage. They cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.
Banderas, 54, and Griffith, 57, have an 18-year-daughter together. This marks her fourth divorce and his second.
