Melissa Gorga told fans she hasn’t been able to visit her sister-in-law and Real Housewives of New Jersey co-star, Teresa Giudice, in jail because she hasn’t had permission from Danbury yet.
Giudice, whose brother Joe is Gorga’s husband, surrendered to the Connecticut jail on Jan. 5 to begin her 15-month sentence.
“I requested to go, but I haven't been approved yet,” Gorga said during an appearance on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live on Thursday night, People. She did confirm that her husband, Joe, has been to see his sister behind bars.
Host Andy Cohen poked fun at her past drama with Giudice by asking “By her?" and she replied, "No, I think it's by the place.”
"I think it's by her ..." he laughed.
Back in April, the Giudices appeared on the cover of Us Magazine, which was the first photo released of Teresa since she went to jail. She will get released on Dec. 23 and her husband Joe Giudice will surrender to start his 41-month sentence shortly after.
